The Pinnacle Small Business Awards are among the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce' most prestigious awards. The black-tie optional celebration recognized both emerging companies as well as companies that have exhibited a substantial history as an established business.
The companies honored at the dinner were selected from more than 300 nominations as Gwinnett's Top 25 Pinnacle Small Business Award Winners, based on a steady and above average growth and profitability, growth in number of employees, contributions to the community, overcoming adversity, original entrepreneurship and more, as defined by the Small Business Administration for their statewide and national awards.

Duluth, GA (August 30, 2007) - INC.com, The daily resource for entrepreneurs has recently ranked American Painting & Renovations, Inc. at No. 2709 on the Inc. 5,000. The company was entered on the list in the construction category where it was ranked No. 238 of 561 in the United States.
The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of December 31, 2006. Revenue in 2003 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million.
