THE STORY: Over 20 years ago, brothers Sid and Chris Theus began American Painting & Renovations, Inc. Providing quality workmanship and reliable service, the company has grown into a nationwide corporation specializing in the renovation of apartment communities. In addition, Sid and Chris also own and operate Theus Properties, LLC.

HOW I DID IT: Hard work, long hours and the determination to succeed. I always let my customers know how important they are and strive to keep them happy.

MY BEST ADVICE: Give your customers value for their dollar. Stand behind your work and always do the right thing.

MY IDEA OF FUN: I enjoy spending time at the beach with my family and quail hunting with friends.

WHAT I DREAM OF: As I grow older, I would like to spend more time per year at the beach with my family and to someday go on an African safari.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: Active member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Chairman's Club Member. Appointed to the Gwinnett Chamber's Board of Directors in January 2008. Appointed to the Development Authority of Gwinnett County for District 1 Appointment in July 2008.

As CEO, Sid is actively involved with several charities in Metro Atlanta such as Enable of Georgia, Open Arms, Jaden's Ladder as part of their advisory board, and the Atlanta Food Bank. He has supported many other charities including:
