Meet the APR Team

Sidney H. Theus, Chief Executive Officer:

Sidney Theus (Sid) has served as the Chief Executive Officer since the founding of APR in 1991. Mr. Theus was appointed to the Development Authority Board of Gwinnett County for District 1 in July of 2008. He is also a member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club and serves as an Executive Committee Member and the Vice Chair of Membership and Chairman's Club. Currently, he is serving on the 1818 Club Board of Directors. Sid contributes to over 50 charitable organizations locally and nationally.  Mr. Theus and his brother Chris also own and operate Theus Properties, LLC, a real estate holding and investment company.

Christopher R. Theus, Chief Operating Officer:

Christopher Theus (Chris) has served as the Chief Operating Officer since he and his brother Sid Theus founded the company in 1991. Mr. Theus has over twenty years of experience working in the renovations industry. Prior to working with APR, Mr. Theus served as an active member of The United States Army for five years.  Mr. Theus and his brother Sid also own and operate Theus Properties, LLC, a real estate holding and investment company.

Timothy Perkins, Executive Vice President Sales/ Estimating:

Timothy Perkins (Tim) has been employed with APR since August 2004 and has over 20 years of experience working in the Multi-Family industry. Mr. Perkins has a general contractor’s license and is also Lead Certified, EPA Certified and Mold Remediation certified. As a Vice President of Sales and Estimating, his primary responsibilities are to communicate with customers about their job needs and provide fair estimates.

H. Randall Ray, Vice President Sales/ Estimating:

H. Randall Ray (Randall) joined the APR team in September 2011 with 18 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Ray’s primary responsibilities are to partner with property managers to understand their needs and to provide fair estimates. Mr. Ray was an active member of the United States Air force for four years prior to joining the construction/multifamily industry.

John H. Garza, Vice President Sales/ New Business Development:

John Garza is a highly respected, 18 year veteran of the Multi-Family and Student Housing industries. He is responsible for the development of new business locally and nationally by collecting and evaluating corporate information for potential acquisitions. Mr. Garza also builds and maintains relationships with both new and perspective clients. John is bi-lingual and specializes in marketing management, business development and networking.

Linda Brewer, Office Manager:

Linda Brewer has been an employee for APR since 1997. Ms. Brewer graduated from Mercer University with a degree in Business Administration.  As the Office Manager, she is responsible for the accounting services at APR as well as overseeing the day to day administrative operations within the office.

Laura Stockinger, Executive Assistant to CEO:

Laura Stockinger joined the APR staff in October 2015. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the APR team, compiling marketing materials and providing assistance to the CEO.

James Davis, Senior Project Manager:

James Davis (Jim) joined the APR team in April of 2004 bringing with him 25 years of experience in the industry. As a Senior Project Manager, Mr. Davis manages the field operations for multiple projects throughout the country, overseeing the budget, logistics, sub-contractor recruitment and communicates with the apartment management teams.

Peter Howell, Project Manager:

Peter Howell (PJ) joined APR in October 2011. Mr. Howell is a ‘97 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in Biology and brings 13 years of experience to the company. Mr. Howell’s primary role at APR is that of Project Manager. As a project Manager, he conducts the field operations for multiple projects primarily in Georgia.

Joshua Theus, Assistant Superintendent:

Joshua Theus (Josh) is the Son of Chris Theus and started with APR in October 2011. Mr. Theus is an Assistant Superintendent and is working closely with Senior Project Manager, Jim Davis. He assists on various projects and helps to manage their operations.

Jim Sator, Senior Project Manager:

Jim Sator joined APR in January 2015.  He has over 30 years of construction experience in the Multi-Family, Commercial and Residential industry.  He attended University of Georgia and has degrees in Criminal Justice and Business Management from USC.   As a Senior Project Manager, Jim will oversee multiple project operations, be the liaison to management teams and sub-contractors and have the responsibility for meeting budget goals.   Jim has been actively involved in community and military service from Chief of the Holly Springs Fire Department, USMC and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Dave Andreasen, Project Manager:

Dave Andreasen started his position as Project Manager with APR in March 2015.  In this role, he is responsible for the daily operations surrounding his construction projects, including: a liaison to management teams, directing subcontractors, coordinating renovation projects, prioritizing that customers are satisfied, meeting budget goals and completing jobs on or before designated deadlines.  Dave's experience includes 20 years' experience in project management, which includes being a property manager, maintenance manager and renovation specialist in the apartment business and has 8 years' experience in hotel renovations as an on-site project superintendent.
